The City of Gulfport does this by working in partnership with the people of Gulfport. The Office of Code Enforcement is responsible for promoting and maintaining a safe and desirable living and working environment in Gulfport. The office helps maintain and improve the quality of life in our community by administering a fair and unbiased enforcement program to correct violations of municipal codes and land use requirements. The office also works with residents, neighborhood groups, public agencies and other city departments to create and design plans for community form-based codes and to implement building and land-use standards once they are adopted.
